The Task
AVIALLIANCE, one of the world’s leading private industrial airport investors and managers, hired us to conduct a commercial due diligence and develop a revenue forecast for a potential bid in a private airport stake.
Our Approach
We initiated the project with an extensive site visit, economic and contract data review, and benchmarking with similar airports. We analysed the airport’s commercial operation, identifying potential upsides and risks through a red-flag review.
Furthermore, we generated a detailed revenue forecast, outlining sales and revenue per passenger, per business line, and year. We compared this forecast with the sell-side business plan to ensure congruence.
The Result
The result was a detailed and comprehensive evaluation of the airport’s current situation, potential upsides based on a short–, medium–, and long-term business development strategy, and a year-to-year revenue forecast per passenger. This information empowered our client to make informed decisions and move confidently in their future endeavours regarding the airport stake.
