The Task

Our client, PWC, was approached by the Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia regarding a critical improvement project aimed at enhancing its overall commercial management process. Our team was tasked with extensively reviewing and recommending improvements to the airport’s existing standard commercial RFPs, contracts, and tender processes.

Our Approach

We employed a comprehensive approach to accomplish this project, commencing with an in-depth review of all relevant documentation. We exhaustively scrutinised the entire documentation process, providing valuable feedback and commentary through line-by-line comments. Additionally, we grouped our comments into pertinent categories, highlighting each problem and recommending viable solutions where required.

We also organised a workgroup session for the commercial management team, where we discussed key areas of concern and explained the proposed solutions. Our experts provided input on strategies to improve documentation, leading to significant structural changes that streamlined the entire tender process.

The Result

Our efforts resulted in a complete update of tender documentation, contracts, and tender processes, vastly improving the overall operation. We also provided management with the required training to tender internationally and achieve maximum results. Our tailored approach has established a more robust tender process, enhancing revenue opportunities and profitable outcomes.
