The Task
A US consultancy firm approached us to assist in developing a new commercial strategy for the San Francisco airport. Our main goal was to identify new and cutting-edge retail and food and beverage (F&B) concepts that were coherent with the airport’s passenger profile and would fit into the existing commercial offer and layout at the terminal.
Our Approach
To achieve this, we thoroughly studied the current and future passenger profiles to gain an in-depth understanding of their needs and wants. We also analysed global trends, new developments within the fashion, retail, and catering industry, and the success of local downtown operators. Based on our research, we presented a list of recommended new concepts and potential operators for the airport.
The Result
The client highly valued our recommendations and implemented many of the suggested new concepts that are now operational at the airport.
